This week, one discussion was on foreign or local wholesalers. There were a ton of really good comments made on this top. I decided this week I really like the discussions. I am getting a lot of different kind of information, described many different ways, and in unique perspectives. Some of the class mates are from other countries and point out things I would have never thought of, while others are very into the statistics and give detailed numbers. I have learned a lot from everyone in the class. I also really like the fact that nobody is wrong. We aren’t graded on if we get the right answer right away, because in business there never is one RIGHT answer. I have seen many different successful businesses and they all are successful because they do business differently.
Our second discussion was on drop shipping vs. affiliate. I especially loved this discussion because it was hard to just pick one way and stay with it. Everyone so far had really good, logically comments.
I had missed some important information earlier, “I looked at the two methods using three variables; time commitment, feasibility, and return costs and hassles.” It wasn’t until I was reading a few different student’s comments about adding profit margin, costumer service and returns as more important criteria. I then went back, and read what I missed. I loved these three additional criteria, it is very important to a business and I want to remember it!
Besides, the discussions I really liked these three links:

I will be calling these people to set up affiliate programs for my own private business. It opened my eyes to some possibilities I did not know before.
